Forbidden reach tokens 2/3 - will reward normal appearance. Forbidden reach tokens 3/3 - will reward heroic appearance. Because in Shadowlands it felt extremely random I had very high ilvl pieces turning into LFR skins and very low pieces turned into heroic skins for no reason whatsoever. I desperately want the LFR skin for my main Monk and the catalyst is basically the only way for me to obtain it with how the need/greed system works in LFR.

Both the Horde and Alliance get a single NPC that allows you to queue for all the various LFR wings for the entire expansion — no having to go find a specific NPC for a specific LFR ...

The NPC that gives the weekly event-related quest when that expansion is usually the NPC that lets you queue for LFR when that expansion is over. I'm pretty sure it was that way in WoD and Legion, and when the expansion after Shadowlands comes out, I was expecting that we'd queue for Shadowlands LFR by talking to the NPC next to the Great Vault.

Here are short instructions on how to defeat this encounter on LFR difficulty: Mark and kill ONE Corruption (tentacle). It will spawn an Amalgamation.
